About the author
Dr Adam Rutherford is a respected science writer and broadcaster with a background in genetics from University College London. During his PhD at the Institute of Child Health (Great Ormond Street Hospital) he contributed to identifying the first genetic cause of a form of childhood blindness. Rutherford has been an editor at Nature and is the author of several acclaimed books. His first book, CREATION, was shortlisted for the Wellcome Trust Prize. He also presents BBC Radio 4’s Inside Science and co-presents Curious Cases of Rutherford and Fry.
