Overview:
This 4-book science fiction set by Adrian Tchaikovsky delivers an expansive saga about humanity's attempts to rebuild after Earth’s collapse. Spanning terraformed worlds, ancient programs, and encounters with evolved species, the collection follows explorers, colonists, and unexpected heirs to the stars. Readers who enjoy intricate world-building and questions about survival will find layered narratives that connect across generations. The set gathers Children of Time, Children of Ruin, Children of Memory, and Children of Strife into one complete paperback package for fans of thoughtful future fiction.

About the Books:
Children of Time traces the last human survivors as they reach a planet shaped for life, only to discover it already hosts an intelligent spider civilization shaped by an abandoned experiment. The story examines two competing paths for inheritance of the new world. Children of Ruin follows an expedition that awakens a long-dormant alien presence on the world Nod, forcing uneasy human and spider allies to confront the consequences of old terraforming decisions. Children of Memory shifts to the struggling colony on Imir, where failing harvests and unexplained events suggest the settlers are not alone and forgotten knowledge may be returning. Children of Strife reunites surviving crew members, including a mantis-shrimp captain and an AI, as they investigate a lost outpost and face the final risks left by ancient programs. Together the books build a continuous thread of discovery, loss, and adaptation across deep time.
