About the Author:
Mick Inkpen (born 22 December 1952) is a British author and illustrator. He is best known for his creations Kipper the Dog and Wibbly Pig.Inkpen was born on 22 December 1952 in Romford, Essex, England. He was educated at Royal Liberty School in Gidea Park.[1] He is a friend of Nick Butterworth, who also grew up in Romford, and they collaborated on the 1990 book Wonderful Earth.
