About the Author:

Mandeep S. Jalota is an IRS (Indian Revenue Service) officer of the 2013 batch who is currently serving as the Joint Commissioner of GST, Mumbai. Mandeep Jalota has struggled with depression and anxiety for much of his life, but he successfully managed to come out of it on his own. Dismayed by the everlasting use of medicines along with other autoimmune issues like ulcerative colitis, Mandeep changed his basic diet and overall lifestyle. This change enabled him to stop taking the two-decade-old medications for his major issues: acute depression, anxiety, and ulcerative colitis
