Wild Signs and Star Paths
Tristan Gooley, author of the internationally bestselling How To Read Water and The Walker's Guide to Outdoor Clues & Signs, shows how it is possible to achieve a level of outdoors awareness that will enable you to sense direction from stars and plants, forecast weather from woodland sounds and predict the next action of an animal from its body language - instantly. About the Author :
Tristan Gooley is a writer and natural navigator. His passion for the subject of natural navigation stems from his hands-on experience. He has trekked in remote regions around the world and sailed small boats across oceans and piloted small aircraft to Africa and the Arctic. He is the only living person to have both flown solo and sailed singlehandedly across the Atlantic, and he is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation and the Royal Geographical Society. His books focus on revealing clues and signs in nature, wherever we find them. He and his school can be found online at www.naturalnavigator.com.
