Overview
This Adam Rutherford 3 Books Collection Set brings together three of the most acclaimed popular science titles of the last decade, each exploring what genetics really tells us about who we are. From the sweeping story of human ancestry to a rigorous dismantling of pseudo-scientific racism, and a witty tour of what makes us biologically human, this brand new paperback set is essential reading for anyone curious about science, identity and evolution.

About the Books
In A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived, geneticist Adam Rutherford traces the extraordinary story written into every human genome, weaving together deep history, migration, disease and sex into a single unified account of where we all come from. How to Argue With a Racist tackles head-on the persistent myths about race that continue to surface in politics, sport, education and everyday conversation, using the latest genetic science to show why so many popular ideas about racial difference simply do not hold up. It is a vital, clear-headed toolkit for anyone who has ever struggled to counter prejudice with facts. The Book of Humans completes the set with a lively tour of the animal kingdom, examining sex, violence, art, language and more to reveal exactly what does — and does not — separate humans from other animals. Together the three titles form a coherent, thought-provoking journey through modern genetics and human biology, written in Rutherford's characteristically engaging, accessible style. Each book stands alone but they complement one another perfectly, making this collection ideal for students, science enthusiasts, book clubs or anyone wanting a deeper, evidence-based understanding of human origins and identity.
