Overview
Escape to the wild, windswept landscapes of the Shetland Islands with this complete 8-book paperback collection from bestselling crime author Ann Cleeves. Following Detective Jimmy Perez through eight atmospheric, award-winning mysteries, this set is perfect for fans of slow-burn Scandi-style crime fiction, readers of the hit BBC drama Shetland, or anyone new to Cleeves' celebrated island-set thrillers. A brilliant gift or collection addition for crime fiction lovers.

About the Books
This collection brings together all eight novels chronicling Detective Jimmy Perez's investigations across the remote, beautiful Shetland Islands. It opens with Raven Black, the CWA Gold Dagger-winning debut in which a splash of colour on snow-covered ground leads Fran Hunter to a shocking discovery. White Nights continues the series as Perez investigates during the eerie light of the simmer dim, while Red Bones sees the detective drawn into a community's darkest secrets after an elderly woman's death is ruled a tragic accident. Blue Lightning finds Perez trapped on storm-battered Fair Isle as tensions boil over into murder. Dead Water, Thin Air and Cold Earth each deepen the atmosphere and intrigue, drawing on the sparse landscape and close-knit communities that make the series so distinctive, before Wild Fire brings the saga to its dramatic conclusion as an English family's arrival on the islands unravels into scandal and tragedy. Together, these novels form the basis of the hit BBC One drama Shetland, starring Douglas Henshall as Jimmy Perez. Cleeves' writing combines meticulous plotting with a profound sense of place, immersing readers in the rugged beauty and insular tensions of island life. This complete paperback set suits newcomers reading in order, or fans wanting a matching collection.
