About the Author:
Ayọ̀bámi Adébáyọ̀ was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and studied Literature in English at Obafemi Awolowo University, later completing an MA in Prose Fiction at the University of East Anglia. Her debut, Stay With Me, brought international acclaim, a Baileys Prize shortlisting and translations into around twenty languages. Her follow-up, A Spell of Good Things, cemented her reputation with a Booker Prize longlisting.
