About the Author
Jim Smith is a British author and illustrator who trained in advertising, graphic design and illustration before working across coffee shop branding, packaging and card design under the name Waldo Pancake. His first Barry Loser book, I Am Not a Loser, was published in 2012 and sold rights internationally. The sequel, I Am Still Not a Loser, won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2013, and Jim later won the Scholastic Laugh Out Loud Book Award in 2017 for his Future Ratboy spin-off series.
