About the Author
Quintin Jardine is a bestselling Scottish author born in Motherwell in 1945. Before turning to fiction, he worked as a journalist, a government information officer and a media relations consultant. His debut novel, Skinner's Rules, published in 1993, launched the long-running Bob Skinner series, which now spans over twenty titles and has established Jardine as one of Scotland's most popular crime writers.
