Overview
Bring Me The Head Of The Taskmaster is Alex Horne's official companion book to the BAFTA-winning TV series, packed with 101 brand-new, next-level tasks and clues designed to be attempted for real. Structured as one long, escalating challenge, the book invites a single reader (or a household of competing "players") to follow a trail of increasingly bizarre instructions in pursuit of a hidden prize. It is playful, inventive, and unmistakably Taskmaster in tone, delivering the show's blend of absurd creativity and gentle competitive pressure in book form.

About the Book
Written by Taskmaster creator Alex Horne, this paperback turns the hit Channel 4 show into an interactive reading (and doing) experience. Rather than simply describing tasks, the book sets its reader an actual ongoing challenge: solve a sequence of 101 tasks and clues, each one nudging you closer to tracking down "The Taskmaster's Head". Some tasks can be completed on the sofa; others send you out into the real world, sideways-thinking through riddles, wordplay, and classic Taskmaster-style misdirection. It captures the show's spirit perfectly — favouring lateral thinking and good humour over speed or physical skill, rewarding the kind of contestant logic fans of the series will instantly recognise. At 256 pages, there is plenty of material here, whether tackled solo or shared as an ongoing family competition. The tone throughout is wry, warm, and very British, echoing Horne's own voice from the show, with tasks written with the same mischievous attention to loopholes that has made Taskmaster a cult favourite. It appeals equally to devoted fans wanting more Taskmaster content and to newcomers who enjoy inventive brain-teasers.

  • 101 original tasks and clues written by Taskmaster creator Alex Horne
  • Structured as one ongoing challenge rather than isolated puzzles
  • Captures the show's signature lateral-thinking, low-stakes competitive humour
  • 256-page paperback, easy to carry, share, and revisit
  • A genuine gift for Taskmaster fans, puzzle lovers, and comedy readers
  • Officially tied to the BAFTA-winning Taskmaster TV series

About the Author
Alexander James Jeffery Horne, known as Alex Horne, is an English comedian, musician, and writer, born in 1978. He is the creator of the BAFTA-winning TV series Taskmaster, in which he appears alongside Greg Davies as the Taskmaster's put-upon assistant. Beyond the show, Horne fronts the comedic group The Horne Section, with whom he has toured, podcasted, and appeared on television and radio. Known for his dry wit and love of wordplay, Horne brings the same inventive, slightly chaotic energy to this book that has defined his television career.

Why You'll Love This Book
For Taskmaster fans wanting more of the show's oddball charm, this book delivers 101 fresh challenges straight from creator Alex Horne. It's a genuinely interactive read — part puzzle book, part scavenger hunt — and a brilliant gift for anyone who loves lateral thinking and comedy.
