Overview
Catch and Kill is Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ronan Farrow's gripping, New York Times bestselling account of how he uncovered decades of predatory abuse in Hollywood, and the extraordinary lengths powerful men went to silence the truth. Part detective story, part spy thriller, this true crime paperback exposes a web of lawyers, private investigators, and intelligence operatives hired to protect predators and bury stories before they could break.

About the Book
In 2017, what began as a routine network television assignment led Ronan Farrow to whispered allegations against one of Hollywood's most powerful producers. As he pursued the story, he found himself the target of a covert operation: high-priced lawyers, and elite operatives with ties to intelligence agencies worked in concert to threaten his career, intimidate his sources, and kill the investigation before it could reach the public. Undeterred, Farrow kept digging, following a trail of corruption that stretched far beyond Hollywood and into the corridors of network television and political power. Catch and Kill reveals, in forensic and often shocking detail, exactly how a system of wealth, fear, and complicity allowed abuse to continue unchecked for years - and what it finally took to break the silence. Blending taut narrative suspense with rigorous investigative reporting, the book reads like a thriller while remaining a meticulously sourced work of journalism. It captures the courage of the women who came forward, the resistance Farrow faced from within his own newsroom, and the wider reckoning that followed. This UK paperback edition brings the full, unabridged account to readers who want to understand not just what happened, but how deeply entrenched systems of power can be dismantled by persistent, fearless reporting.
