Drawing on his own frontline military service, Ryan delivers relentless, authentic action across every book, following elite soldiers, spies and covert operatives as they take on terrorists, cartels and hostile regimes around the globe. A perfect gift or collection-starter for any fan of high-octane military fiction.
About the Books
This set brings together nine of Chris Ryan's most gripping thrillers, spanning several of his acclaimed fiction strands. Hunter Killer and Masters of War introduce SAS hero Danny Black, recruited into a deniable assassination squad hunting terrorist cells across warzones from Syria to North Africa. Warlord and Head Hunters continue Danny's story, taking him from the Mexican cartel wars to a covert kill team in Helmand Province. Osama, Ryan's seventeenth novel, is a standalone thriller built around the aftermath of Bin Laden's death, packed with trademark insider detail. Deathlist and Global Strike follow the Strike Back universe, with soldiers John Porter and John Bald pulled into missions spanning SAS Selection in the Brecon Beacons to a disgraced MI6 agent's desperate final job. Night Strike and Silent Kill, from Ryan's Extreme series, deliver shorter, punchier missions featuring hardened operatives fighting battles both external and internal. Together the nine titles showcase the full range of Ryan's storytelling — from Special Forces black ops to espionage and hostage drama — all grounded in his genuine SAS background and love of pacey, authentic military thrillers.
About the Author
Chris Ryan, real name Colin Armstrong MM, was born near Newcastle in 1961 and joined the SAS in 1984. During the 1991 Gulf War he took part in the legendary Bravo Two Zero patrol, completing the longest escape and evasion in SAS history after his patrol was compromised behind enemy lines, an achievement recognised with the Military Medal. Since leaving the Regiment in 1994 he has written dozens of bestselling thrillers and non-fiction titles, drawing directly on his own frontline experience to bring unmatched authenticity to his fiction.
