Overview:
The Danny Black series brings together eight full-length SAS thrillers from bestselling author and former special forces soldier Chris Ryan. Following Regiment hero Danny Black across warzones from Syria to Nigeria to the streets of London, this collection delivers relentless pace, authentic military detail, and high-stakes espionage. Perfect for fans of Andy McNab and hard-hitting action fiction, this complete run of eight paperbacks is a brilliant introduction or a satisfying full-series read for existing fans of Chris Ryan.
About the Books:
This set collects the entire main sequence of the Danny Black thrillers, opening with Masters of War, in which an assassination in Paris is traced back to a terror plot on London's streets, sending Black after a shadowy network of extremists. Hunter Killer and Hellfire plunge readers into the Syria/Iraq conflict as Black's SAS team hunts IS terrorists and races to rescue hostages under fire. Bad Soldier and Warlord follow Black across Mediterranean migrant routes and the mountains of Afghanistan, where loyalty and duty are tested to breaking point. Head Hunters and Black Ops expose corruption closer to home within the intelligence world, while Zero 22 closes the set with a ferocious mission that cements Danny Black as one of thriller fiction's most compelling heroes. Chris Ryan writes with the authority of a man who has lived through real special forces operations, and it shows in the tactics, weaponry, and tension of every mission. Themes of sacrifice, brotherhood, and the psychological toll of combat run beneath the fast-moving plots, giving the series real emotional weight alongside explosive set-pieces.

About the Author:
Chris Ryan is the pen name of Colin Armstrong, a former SAS sergeant and bestselling British author. Born in 1961 near Newcastle, Ryan served with the SAS and was the only member of his eight-man patrol to escape capture during the Bravo Two Zero mission in the 1991 Gulf War, an experience recounted in his memoir The One That Got Away. Since then he has written numerous bestselling thrillers, including the Danny Black and Strike Back series, drawing on his own military background to bring gritty realism to modern action fiction.
Why You'll Love This Series:
Authentic, breathless, and utterly gripping, the Danny Black series delivers everything fans of military thrillers want: real tactics, real stakes, and a hero worth rooting for through every mission.
