Daniel Kothenschulte is a German author, curator and lecturer on film and art history, and a lifelong lover of animation. He is responsible for the film section of the German national daily newspaper Frankfurter Rundschau and has taught at several universities, including Städelschule in Frankfurt and the University of Television and Film Munich.
