About the Author:
Saul David (born 1966) is a British military historian, novelist and broadcaster, best known for his acclaimed work on the Anglo-Zulu War and the Indian Rebellion of 1857, as well as for presenting television documentaries on imperial and military history. Born in Monmouth, Wales, he studied history at Edinburgh University before completing a PhD at the University of Glasgow.
