Overview
This gripping three-book paperback set brings together instalments fifteen to seventeen of Simon McCleave's bestselling DI Ruth Hunter crime series, all published by Canelo Crime in 2023. Set against the atmospheric backdrops of North Wales, The Denbigh Asylum Killings, The Wrexham Killings and The Colwyn Bay Killings follow Detective Inspector Ruth Hunter as she battles ruthless criminals, unravels dark conspiracies and races against time to catch killers before they strike again. Perfect for fans of fast-paced British police procedurals.

About the Books
In The Denbigh Asylum Killings, a body is discovered in a disused asylum by local teenagers, drawing DI Ruth Hunter into an investigation that may be tied to a modern slavery ring, or perhaps a far more personal, toxic relationship. When a second murder occurs, Ruth realises the stakes are higher than she thought, and must find the killer before they vanish for good.

The Wrexham Killings opens with a young woman found covered in someone else's blood, with no memory of what happened or even who she is. With no witnesses and no answers, DI Ruth Hunter must race to identify the violent culprit before they strike again.

The Colwyn Bay Killings finds Ruth recovering from a near-fatal injury, while her team investigates a body found in the ashes of a burnt-out caravan at a holiday park. With shady dealings, no clear witnesses and a prime suspect who suddenly disappears, Ruth's colleagues must uncover the truth before the case goes cold. Together, these instalments deliver McCleave's trademark blend of atmospheric Welsh settings and relentless pacing.
