About the Author

Daniel Finkelstein, Baron Finkelstein OBE, is a British journalist, author and politician, born in 1962. He is a former executive editor of The Times, where he remains a weekly political columnist, and has written for The Jewish Chronicle since 2010. Earlier in his career he advised Prime Minister John Major and Conservative leader William Hague. Since 2013 he has sat in the House of Lords as a Conservative peer. He is also a director of Chelsea Football Club and author of the acclaimed memoir Hitler, Stalin, Mum and Dad.
