Overview
The Felt Flaps And A Mirror! collection brings together five of Ingela P Arrhenius's best-loved interactive board books in one gorgeous gift set. Each title invites babies and toddlers to lift a tactile felt flap on every spread, searching for a hidden animal friend before discovering a surprise mirror on the final page. Bold, retro-inspired illustrations and sturdy board book pages make this a perfect first library for little explorers, blending sensory play with early language and recognition skills in one charming package.
About the Books
Each book in this five-strong set follows the same much-loved format that made Where's Mr Lion? a winner of the Sainsbury's Children's Book Award. In Where's Mr Lion?, little ones search for Mrs Giraffe, Mr Crocodile, Mrs Elephant and Mr Lion himself across five beautifully illustrated spreads. Where's Mrs Kangaroo? takes readers on an Australian-themed hunt for friendly outback animals, while Where's Mrs Hen? explores a cheerful farmyard full of familiar faces hiding behind colourful felt flaps. Where's Mr Duck? introduces a cast of charming pond creatures, and Where's Mrs Zebra? rounds off the collection with a safari-themed adventure. Every single title features five richly coloured scenes, a tactile felt flap to lift on each page, and that all-important mirror surprise waiting on the final spread. The repetitive, predictable structure across all five books is ideal for very young children, helping to build confidence, memory and anticipation with every re-read. Printed on robust board book pages designed to withstand enthusiastic little hands, this set is as durable as it is beautiful. Together, the five books make an excellent first collection for home bookshelves, nurseries or classroom reading corners.
