Overview
The Half Bad Trilogy Series 3 Books Collection Set by Sally Green brings together Half Bad, Half Wild and Half Lost in one brand new paperback set. This dark, fast-paced YA fantasy series follows Nathan Byrn, a boy born of both White and Black Witch blood, as he fights prejudice, hidden power and a brutal war that will decide his fate. A Waterstones Teen Book Prize winner, this trilogy is a must for fans of morally complex, character-driven fantasy and a favourite gift for teen and adult readers alike.
About the Books
Half Bad introduces Nathan, a teenager who is half White Witch and half Black Witch, caged and watched by a Council that fears what he might become. As his seventeenth birthday nears, he must escape captivity, find his estranged father and receive the three Gifts that will confirm him as a full witch — or be destroyed before he ever gets the chance. Sally Green's debut set the tone for the whole trilogy: tense, unflinching and emotionally raw.
Half Wild picks up with Nathan on the run across Europe, newly gifted but still hunted, desperate to reunite with his friend Gabriel and rescue Annalise from the powerful Black Witch Mercury. Along the way he must master his unpredictable new power before it consumes him.
Half Lost brings the trilogy to its conclusion. The Alliance of Free Witches lies in ruins, hunted by the Council's Hunters. Nathan and his allies gamble everything on retrieving the missing half of an ancient amulet said to make its bearer unstoppable in battle. Sacrifice and loyalty collide in a finale that has stayed with readers.
