Overview
Step into Middle-earth with this beautifully packaged four-book paperback collection from J.R.R. Tolkien, bringing together The Hobbit and the complete Lord of the Rings trilogy. First released to mark the 75th anniversary of The Hobbit's publication, this boxed set is the definitive way for new readers to discover Bilbo and Frodo Baggins' extraordinary journeys, and for lifelong fans to add a fresh, giftable edition to their shelves.
About the Books
This collection gathers four of the most influential fantasy novels ever written. The Hobbit introduces readers to Bilbo Baggins, a reluctant homebody swept into an unexpected adventure with the wizard Gandalf and thirteen dwarves, facing trolls, goblins, and the fearsome dragon Smaug on the way to reclaiming a stolen treasure. The story sets the stage for The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which follows Bilbo's nephew Frodo as he inherits the One Ring and joins the Fellowship on a perilous quest to destroy it in the fires of Mount Doom before the Dark Lord Sauron can reclaim it. Across The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King, Tolkien weaves an epic tale of friendship, courage, and sacrifice, populated by hobbits, elves, dwarves, wizards, and men, all bound together in the fight for Middle-earth. Since first publication, these books have become instant classics, selling more than 150 million copies worldwide and inspiring generations of readers, as well as blockbuster film adaptations. This paperback boxed set offers the complete saga in one attractive package, perfect for reading in sequence or returning to old favourites.
