About the Author
Francesca Simon is the American-born British author behind the phenomenally successful Horrid Henry series of children's books. Born in St Louis, Missouri, she grew up in California before studying at Yale University and Jesus College, Oxford, where she majored in medieval studies and Old English. Before becoming a full-time author, Simon worked as a journalist, writing for publications including The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Mail on Sunday, The Daily Telegraph and US Vogue. She lives in London with her husband, Martin Stamp, and has one son, Joshua.
