Overview
Step into the sparkly, half-fairy, half-vampire world of Isadora Moon with this delightful seven-book paperback collection from bestselling author-illustrator Harriet Muncaster. Perfect for newly confident readers aged 5-7, each story follows Isadora as she juggles school, birthdays, sleepovers, weddings and wobbly teeth, all while embracing what makes her wonderfully unique. With charming black-and-pink illustrations on every page, these first-chapter books are ideal for building reading confidence and imagination alike.
About the Books
Isadora Moon is no ordinary girl - her mum is a fairy, her dad is a vampire, and she is a joyful mixture of both. Across this collection, Isadora navigates everyday adventures with a magical twist. In Goes on Holiday, a family trip turns into a rescue mission when she and her mermaid friend Marina find a baby turtle in danger. Has a Birthday sees Isadora experience her first human-style birthday party, arranged by her parents. In Has a Sleepover, she stays over at her friend Zoe's house for the first time, full of midnight feasts and giggles. Makes Winter Magic brings snowy fun as Isadora's creations come to life, but not forever. Goes to School follows her first day, deciding whether she belongs in vampire school or fairy school. Goes to a Wedding finds her as a bridesmaid, dealing with a mischievous cousin and a bored baby sister. Finally, Meets the Tooth Fairy sparks a funny tug-of-war between vampire dentistry and fairy tradition. Told with warmth and humour, this set captures the heart of a series loved by millions.
