Dr Amit Patel is a disability rights campaigner, motivational speaker and diversity and accessibility consultant who trained as a trauma doctor before losing his sight. Kika & Me is his first book. Kerry Irving is a former outdoor activity instructor whose life changed after a serious car accident; his friendship with Max led him to set up a charity supporting disadvantaged children through outdoor adventures, and Max the Miracle Dog is his debut memoir.
