Overview
The Luna Loves 3 Books Collection Set brings together three joyful picture books by award-winning Children's Laureate Joseph Coelho: Luna Loves Library Day, Luna Loves Art and Luna Loves Dance. Illustrated throughout by Fiona Lumbers, these warm, lyrical stories follow spirited young Luna as she discovers the magic of books, art and dance, all while celebrating family, friendship and self-expression. A perfect paperback picture book set for young readers aged five to seven, ideal for reading together at bedtime or independent story time.
About the Books
In Luna Loves Library Day, Luna treasures her weekly library visit with her dad, exploring shelves of stories and, along the way, beginning to mend their own family history — a gentle introduction to separated families. Luna Loves Art takes Luna and friend Finn to the art gallery, stepping inside works by Van Gogh, Damien Hirst, Matisse and Warhol; when Finn can't see his family reflected in the art, Luna helps him realise family comes in many forms. Luna Loves Dance follows Luna as dance makes the world feel brighter — until a wobbly dance exam leaves her doubting herself, and her family helps her find her rhythm again, with a glorious fold-out carnival page. Together, the three stories build a joyful series celebrating libraries, art and dance as places of discovery, while gently exploring modern family life and resilience. Coelho's rhythmic text pairs beautifully with Fiona Lumbers' vibrant illustrations, making each book a rewarding shared read.
