About the Author
Philip Reeve is a British author and illustrator best known for the Mortal Engines series, as well as Railhead and Here Lies Arthur. Before turning to writing, he spent years illustrating and providing cartoons and comic strips for around forty children's books, including the Horrible Histories and Murderous Maths series. He co-created the Max and Kevin books with illustrator Sarah McIntyre, bringing the same wit and warmth to a younger readership that made his earlier novels so acclaimed.
