About the Author
Maria Farrer lives in the Somerset countryside with her husband and their dog. She previously spent eight years on a small farm in New Zealand before turning to writing full time. Maria trained as a speech and language therapist and teacher, working with students who had language and literacy difficulties, before completing an MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University. The series, illustrated by Daniel Rieley, grew from her passion for stories that help children process big feelings and family change.
