Overview
This heartfelt 3-book collection brings together three of Mike Gayle's most acclaimed contemporary novels in one great-value paperback set. Exploring family, identity, loss and second chances, each story stands alone but together they showcase why Gayle is one of the UK's best-loved writers of warm, emotionally intelligent fiction. Perfect for readers who enjoy character-driven family dramas with real heart, humour and hope, this set makes a wonderful gift or a rewarding addition to any bookshelf.

About the Books
Half a World Away follows Kerry Hayes, a single mother on a tough south London estate who cleans houses she could never afford to live in herself. Taken into care as a child and separated from her brother, Kerry has spent her life trying to outrun her past — until a reunion forces her to confront it head-on and reassess everything she thought she knew about family and belonging.

The Man I Think I Know tells the story of James DeWitt, a man who has played it safe ever since a life-changing incident, and Danny Allen, whose life has been anything but safe. When an unlikely friendship brings the two men together, both are forced to face up to their pasts in ways that will change their futures forever.

The Hope Family Calendar centres on Tom Hope, a father struggling to hold his family together since the death of his wife Laura. With his mother-in-law Linda stepping in to help raise his two daughters, Evie and Lola, Tom must find his own way back to hope, love and life through a year of small, meaningful moments.

Together, these three novels highlight Mike Gayle's gift for blending laugh-out-loud humour with genuinely moving, true-to-life storytelling about the families we're born into and the ones we choose.
