About the Author
Julia Donaldson is one of the best-loved children's authors in the world, and served as UK Children's Laureate from 2011 to 2013. She is best known for The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom, Stick Man and What the Ladybird Heard, with her books selling many millions of copies worldwide. Illustrator Lucy Richards studied at North Wales School of Art & Design and has illustrated numerous children's titles alongside authors including Julia Donaldson and Michael Morpurgo, as well as writing and illustrating her own picture book, The Magic Sky.
