About the Author
Anna Milbourne grew up in north-west England and Germany, where she wrote plays about talking animals long before joining Usborne Publishing. Since 1998 she has written over a hundred children's books, ranging from natural world non-fiction to stories of curious penguins and inventive children, several of which have won awards. Illustrator Simona Dimitri, born in Busto Arsizio, Italy, trained at the Liceo Artistico in Milan and has worked as a freelance children's illustrator for many British publishers, bringing bright, characterful artwork to this series.
