About the Author
Kaushy Patel co-founded Prashad, the celebrated vegetarian restaurant in Bradford, with her husband Mohan in 1992, later moving the restaurant to Drighlington. Having learned to cook as a child on her grandmother's farm in northern India, she brought her love of vegetarian home cooking with her when the family settled in northern England. Prashad's reputation grew after appearing on Ramsay's Best Restaurant, and Kaushy has since shared her family recipes in two bestselling cookbooks, of which this is the second, written with her son Bobby.
