About the Book
In Pub Kitchen, two-Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge returns to his heartland, taking the most popular dishes found on the menus of brilliant modern British pubs and giving them his signature twist. The result is a stunning collection of over 100 super-tasty recipes designed for confident, everyday home cooking. Chapters are organised around the pub-inspired categories cooks will recognise and love: Snacks, Lighter Dishes, Fish, Meat and Veg Mains, Pies & Roasts, and Puddings. Expect gastropub favourites reimagined for the home kitchen, such as creamy prawn tagliatelle and steak and ale pie, alongside inventive twists on classics like tempura cod and nduja sausage rolls, plus show-stopping desserts including a legendary sticky date and banana pudding. Kerridge's writing is warm, direct and full of genuine enthusiasm for the food he grew up loving, making every recipe feel achievable rather than intimidating. This hardback edition is beautifully produced, generously photographed, and built to be a lasting kitchen reference. It's a book for anyone who has ever eaten a brilliant pub meal and wondered how to recreate that same magic at home, distilled by one of Britain's most respected and best-loved culinary voices.
