Published by Hodder, it's an ideal gift for horror and thriller readers alike.
About the Books
IT unfolds in the small town of Derry, Maine, where a malevolent force resurfaces every 27 years to feed on fear, and a group of childhood friends reunites as adults to confront the horrors of their past. Pet Sematary follows a family who move to a rural home only to discover a neighbouring burial ground with the power to resurrect the dead, at a terrible price, in King's devastating exploration of grief and loss. Misery traps a bestselling author with his obsessive "number one fan" in a remote farmhouse, delivering a claustrophobic modern classic about power and dependency. The Institute follows children with extraordinary gifts confronting a brutal, secretive organisation intent on control, blending social tension with sprawling, cinematic menace. If It Bleeds collects four novellas, including the title story which carries Holly Gibney into a taut modern thriller, showcasing King's range across dark humour, intimate character studies and high-concept dread. Together, these five titles represent decades of King's storytelling, spanning his early breakout horror through to his most recent bestsellers, and offer readers a broad, satisfying cross-section of his work in one convenient set.
