About the Author
C. J. Skuse is an English novelist and Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University. Born in Weston-super-Mare in 1980, she holds First Class degrees in Creative Writing and Writing for Young People. Skuse began her career writing acclaimed YA fiction — including Pretty Bad Things, Rockoholic, Dead Romantic, Monster and The Deviants — before turning her sharp, subversive voice to adult crime fiction with the bestselling Sweetpea series and The Alibi Girl.
