Overview
Taskmaster: 220 Extraordinary Tasks for Ordinary People is the official companion book to the BAFTA-winning comedy panel show, written by its creator and on-screen assistant Alex Horne. Packed with genuine tasks set for the show's comedians, plus dozens of brand new challenges devised especially for readers, this paperback lets fans bring the chaos, cunning and creativity of Taskmaster into their own homes, gardens and living rooms.

About the Book
Since its first series, Taskmaster has become one of Britain's best-loved comedy formats, throwing well-known comedians into a series of bizarre, brilliant and often baffling challenges judged by the towering Greg Davies. This book takes that premise off the screen and into your hands. Alex Horne, who created the show and plays the role of Taskmaster's Assistant, has compiled 220 tasks designed to be attempted by you, your friends and your family - some silly, some surprisingly tricky, and all guaranteed to spark arguments about who really won. Alongside the tasks themselves, the book includes secret tips, sneaky tricks and a few insights into how the TV series is put together, giving fans a genuine behind-the-scenes flavour of the show they love. Whether it's building a box and thinking outside of it, or attempting something completely unexpected with everyday household objects, each task is written in Horne's distinctive, wry and self-deprecating voice. It captures the same spirit of gleeful nonsense that has made the television series such a hit, and works equally well as a solo dip-in read, a party game for groups, or a long car-journey distraction. There is, as promised, one swear word - so consider yourselves warned, and Taskmastered.
