Overview
Dive into twelve gripping instalments of Kathy Reichs' bestselling Temperance Brennan series, covering books seven through eighteen of the forensic crime saga that inspired the hit TV show Bones. This paperback set follows forensic anthropologist Dr Temperance Brennan across increasingly complex, chilling cases in Montreal and the Carolinas. Combining sharp scientific detail with pulse-pounding suspense, these novels suit crime and thriller fans wanting to catch up on the middle chapters of Reichs' acclaimed series in one great-value bundle.
About the Books
This 12-book paperback set gathers a run of Kathy Reichs' most acclaimed Temperance Brennan thrillers. In Monday Mourning, three skeletons uncovered in a Montreal basement lead Tempe into a web of murder disguised as history. Cross Bones sends her chasing an ancient biblical mystery, while Break No Bones and Devil Bones draw her into cases involving prehistoric graves and a disgraced autopsy. Bones to Ashes uncovers the tragic story of a young girl's remains, and 206 Bones tests Tempe's own credibility as a forensic expert. Spider Bones and Flash and Bones take her from military identification cases to a NASCAR-week landfill discovery, while Bones Are Forever leads her to the Arctic Circle pursuing a killer mother. Bones of the Lost, Bones Never Lie, and Speaking in Bones close the run with smuggled artefacts, a decade-long hunt for a serial predator, and a case built from a chilling audio recording. Each novel stands alone as a complete mystery, while Tempe's personal life and career evolve across the run, rewarding readers who follow the series in order. Reichs draws on her own career as a practising forensic anthropologist for authentic scientific procedure, making this set essential for fans of evidence-led crime fiction.
About the Author
Kathy Reichs is a New York Times bestselling author and one of very few forensic anthropologists certified by the American Board of Forensic Anthropology. Her debut novel, Déjà Dead, won the 1997 Ellis Award for Best First Novel and launched the Temperance Brennan series to international acclaim. Reichs draws on decades of real forensic casework, including consulting for the Quebec medico-legal laboratory, to bring scientific authenticity to her novels. She also produced the long-running Fox TV series Bones, inspired by her work and characters.
