About the Books
TimeRiders is a young adult science fiction series that follows three teenagers recruited by a secret organisation known only as "the Agency" to protect history from those who would rewrite it using time travel. The series opens with TimeRiders, introducing Liam O'Connor, Maddy Carter and Sal Vikram, each saved moments before their own deaths and thrust into a mission to guard the timeline. In Day of the Predator, Liam is stranded sixty-five million years in the past among prehistoric predators, while The Doomsday Code sends the team to medieval Sherwood Forest chasing a cryptic warning. The Eternal War rewrites the American Civil War and pulls Abraham Lincoln into the present, and Gates of Rome scatters agents across ancient history during the reign of Caligula. City of Shadows finds the team hunted through Victorian London by cyborg assassins, while The Pirate Kings sweeps them into the Great Fire of London and the age of piracy. The Mayan Prophecy uncovers long-hidden secrets tied to an ancient relic, before the saga concludes in The Infinity Cage, a final showdown in 2070 that determines the fate of history itself. Across all nine books, Scarrow combines meticulously researched historical settings with speculative science and non-stop action, creating a series that has been shortlisted for and won several children's book awards since its debut.
