Overview
Step into the world of the twentieth century's most famous reporter with this complete 23-book paperback collection of The Adventures of Tintin. Created to mark Tintin's 90th anniversary, this Egmont box set gathers every official story Hergé completed, from early globe-trotting mysteries to his unfinished final sketchbook. Packed into one sturdy carry box, it's an instant home library for young readers and a nostalgic treasure for lifelong fans.
About the Books
Hergé's Adventures of Tintin has sold in the hundreds of millions worldwide and remains one of the best-loved comic-strip series ever published. This 23-volume set brings together Tintin's complete run of adventures in reading order, from his earliest black-and-white tales through the fully coloured stories of his golden era. Readers follow the young Belgian journalist and his terrier Snowy as they chase smugglers, uncover ancient curses, navigate political coups, and even travel to the moon decades before Apollo. Along the way they're joined by an unforgettable cast: Captain Haddock, detectives Thomson and Thompson, opera diva Bianca Castafiore, and genius Professor Calculus. Each story stands alone, so readers can dip in anywhere, yet together they form a sweeping, often prescient portrait of twentieth-century world affairs. Hergé's pioneering "clear line" artwork gives every panel a clarity that still feels fresh today, reproduced faithfully in good-quality paperback editions.
About the Author
Hergé, the pen name of Belgian artist Georges Remi, created The Adventures of Tintin in 1929 and drew the series for over five decades. Widely regarded as one of the most important cartoonists of the twentieth century, he pioneered the "clear line" illustration style that still shapes comic art and animation. His work has been translated into dozens of languages and has influenced artists worldwide. Hergé was working on the final, unfinished Tintin story at the time of his death in 1983.
Why You'll Love This Collection
From snowy mountains to the moon, this boxed set puts every classic Tintin mystery at your fingertips, in one beautifully packaged paperback collection built for years of rereading.
