Overview
This charming Usborne Peep Inside four-book board book collection invites toddlers to explore trees, oceans, jungles and space through gorgeously illustrated scenes packed with lift-the-flap surprises. Written by bestselling author Anna Milbourne, each sturdy board book is designed for little hands, encouraging curiosity and early vocabulary as children peep behind flaps to meet squirrels, sharks, tigers and astronauts. A perfect gift set for nature-loving and space-mad toddlers alike.
About the Books
Peep Inside a Tree lets little explorers peer under leaves and branches to discover hibernating squirrels and creepy crawlies, learning what trees need to grow and how they change through the seasons. Peep Inside The Sea takes children beneath the waves and behind coral reefs to spot hungry sharks, shy sea dragons, a deep-sea submarine and even a sunken ship. Peep Inside the Jungle heads into the undergrowth to find a mummy tiger with her cubs, a bright-eyed tree frog, a bird of paradise and a honey bear enjoying a midnight snack, as children lift flaps to uncover every noisy creature. Finally, Peep Inside Space lifts young readers' eyes to the night sky, exploring the planets of our solar system and astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Across all four titles, intricately die-cut flaps and holes reward repeated reading, turning each page turn into a small discovery. The board book format is robust enough for toddler hands and ideal for shared reading or quiet solo exploration. Together the set forms a well-rounded introduction to the natural world and beyond, equally at home on a nursery shelf or wrapped as a birthday gift.
