About the Books:
This collection gathers five essential volumes from The Wheel of Time. New Spring, a prequel, follows a young Al'Lan Mandragoran and Moiraine Damodred as danger stirs near the Blight. Lord of Chaos sees Rand al'Thor attempting to unite fractured, war-torn nations against the rising Shadow, thick with betrayal and shifting alliances. The Path of Daggers follows Rand's conquest of Illian while Nynaeve and Elayne battle the Dark One's growing influence, balancing fast-paced action with themes of power and responsibility. Crossroads of Twilight tracks Mat Cauthon's perilous flight with the Daughter of the Nine Moons, amid pursuit and a siege at Tar Valon. Knife of Dreams builds tension toward the Last Battle, as Rand grapples with fraying reality and high-stakes negotiation. Together, these five paperbacks showcase Jordan's hallmark blend of intricate world-building, deep characterisation and slow-burn plotting across a world of prophecy, ancient magic and monumental conflict. Whether read as standalone entries by existing fans or as an introduction to key arcs within the wider fourteen-book series, this set rewards immersive reading and remains a cornerstone of modern epic fantasy.
