Overview
Continue Robert Jordan's legendary epic fantasy saga with this five-book paperback collection covering the second act of The Wheel of Time. Spanning Books 6 to 10, this set follows Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn, as alliances shift, wars rage, and the Last Battle draws ever closer. Perfect for readers who have finished the first five volumes and want to keep the story moving, this brand-new set is a must-have for any fantasy library or gift for a devoted Wheel of Time fan.
About the Books
In Lord of Chaos, Rand al'Thor strives to bind the nations of the world to his will, forging alliances to ready the forces of Light for the Last Battle, while the Amyrlin Elaida sets a snare to trap him within the White Tower. A Crown of Swords sees Rand escape those snares as rebel Aes Sedai begin to swear him allegiance, while he rallies his forces against Sammael the Forsaken in Illian. In The Path of Daggers, having conquered Illian and struck down Sammael, Rand faces the invading Seanchan, while Nynaeve, Aviendha, and Elayne work to reclaim the throne of Andor as Egwene marches on the White Tower. Winter's Heart pushes deeper into the Third Age of Prophecy, where the World and Time hang in the balance as old legends threaten to become reality. Finally, Crossroads of Twilight follows Egwene al'Vere as she lays siege to the White Tower, racing to reunite the Aes Sedai before the male Asha'man are left alone against the Dark One. Together these five novels carry the saga through pivotal turns, deepening the intrigue, magic, and warfare that made the series a landmark of modern fantasy.
