About the Author
Pippa Goodhart lives just outside Cambridge and began her career in the book world as a teenager working Saturdays in Heffers Bookshop. She went on to become a publisher's reader, a children's writer, and a teacher of writing for children, and has written over a hundred books for young readers. She has been shortlisted for numerous awards, won the Historical Association's Young Quills Award in 2019, Mumsnet's Book of the Year for 3-4 Year Olds, and York Libraries' 'Best Picture Book Ever' award for You Choose, illustrated throughout by Nick Sharratt. She also writes as Laura Owen, author of the Winnie the Witch storybooks.
