Gathering seven of the finest Jeeves and Wooster adventures in one set, it's the ideal introduction for newcomers and a handsome refresh for long-time fans. Packed with meddling aunts, romantic entanglements, and Jeeves's endlessly resourceful solutions, this collection delivers classic British comic writing at its sharpest, wrapped in smart matching paperback editions built to last.
About the Books
This set brings together seven cornerstone titles in the Jeeves and Wooster canon. In The Inimitable Jeeves, meddling Aunt Agatha schemes to see Bertie married off, while Jeeves works quietly to keep him a bachelor. Carry On, Jeeves introduces the famous hangover cure and a string of scrapes that cement the pair's partnership. Very Good, Jeeves sees Bertie and his circle tumble from one crisis to the next, each resolved by Jeeves's calm ingenuity. Thank You, Jeeves takes the action to the countryside, where ex-fiancées and eccentric doctors fuel escalating farce. Right Ho, Jeeves features school prize-givings and Bertie's disastrous attempts at social engineering. Ring for Jeeves introduces mistaken identities and a fortune-seeking captain, while Jeeves and the Feudal Spirit closes the set with Drones Club darts, jealous rivals, and Bertie's usual romantic misadventures. Across all seven books, Wodehouse's precise comic timing and affectionate satire of upper-crust English society shine through, with Bertie's amiable bumbling and Jeeves's unflappable brilliance making for a reading experience that is as comforting as it is funny.
