Overview
Welcome Home: A Guide to Building a Home For Your Soul is a moving work of inspiration from celebrated poet, speaker and educator Najwa Zebian. Blending memoir, poetry and deeply resonant teachings, Zebian introduces her concept of home as an internal place of safety and belonging rather than a physical location. This paperback edition, published by Yellow Kite, offers a compassionate, practical blueprint for healing old wounds, embracing vulnerability and rebuilding self-worth from the inside out.

About the Book
In this deeply personal debut, Najwa Zebian shares her own story for the first time, weaving memoir, poetry and life-changing teachings to explore what it means to feel at home within yourself. Drawing on her journey from leaving Lebanon at sixteen, to coming of age as a young Muslim woman in Canada, to forging a new identity while learning to speak her truth, Zebian shows how alienation and displacement can become the foundation for profound self-discovery. She reveals how the search for home is ultimately an inward journey, one that requires embracing vulnerability, confronting inner homelessness, and offering ourselves the compassion we readily give to others. Through gentle, evocative prose and reflective passages, Welcome Home guides readers towards building an inner sanctuary, a place where they are free to be authentic, to forgive themselves, and to feel truly seen. Whether navigating grief, identity, heartbreak or the everyday struggle of self-acceptance, Zebian's words offer a steady hand and a gentle reminder that home is something we can create within ourselves. It is a book for anyone who has ever felt like an outsider, and for anyone ready to stop waiting for permission to belong. Welcome Home stands as a testament to resilience, healing and the transformative power of self-love.
